Happy Now

Happy Now

A Poem by Kena
"

New song. <3 :)

"

V1.

Listen to Adele and Taylor Swift

and all this other junk

Depressing lyrics fill my ears and

I feel empty as a drum

I don't know why

I was so blind

Sit here whining, crying, dying

over someone who doesn't care

No reason to be sad, it wasn't

a situation that rare

I've seen it before

Why didn't I just lock the door?

Chorus:

I'm alright right now, I'm okay

Didn't see you walking away,

but I am so happy now

Don't worry, just live your new life

Don't hold on to the sorrowful cries

that you heard

They won't be back again

I hope you learned your lesson

I am great right now

And I won't see you around

V2.

Walking down the sidewalk,

see a million smiles on the street

I'm happy, joyful, tingling when

the station's blasting Eet

I feel so blessed

Who would have guessed?

I have a flash of your sweet face

But my heart doesn't start to race

I push you away

and just enjoy my day

(Back to chorus)

Bridge:

Don't know why I was so upset

Guess these songs made me feel less depressed

I remember, but now I don't care

I've prayed and now I feel so much better

(Back to chorus...)

About
What can I say? I've gone from stories to songs. But I guess songs are stories, too. I love God and music, in that order. God has given me so much, it's overwhelming. I complain a lot, but I think.. more..
