Alone

This is a poem I wrote a few years back when my girlfriend broke up with me in highschool

Alone

I feel like my heart is gone,
Gave it up without a fight,
Torn apart by the words of our song,
This definatly isn't right

The moment you walked away from me
A tear ran down my face,
I hope you hear my silent plea
In my heart is your place

The thought of loneliness , emptyness
Scares me enough to cry,
All I need is one more chance
'Cause I will never say goodbye

I don't want to be alone again,
All I want is to be with you,
I don't want to play pretend
I know my feelings for you are true
