Without

Without

A Poem by Ken Simm.

Cen brón, cen dubai, cen bás,

cen nach galar, cen indgas

'Without sorrow, without grief, without death,

without any sickness, without debility from wounds'

we are one part

without

Outside, in part

Ourselves

With out, I say

Nay I shout,

Without

What?

That which we are

Without

Is that which we are

Ourselves without sorrow, without grief,

Not yet, without death

And wounded

Aye,

But not sick unto death

Simply

Without

One part

Of who we are.

Without.

I agree with Emma. There truly is no way to know, however, unless we stop and listen to that three pronged voice inside....and allow love to win. Love...of self....the higher spiritual love that will never let go.

With out, --------the without is a way how we want to appear to the others, whole. when they know less about us - we are less vulnerable. beautiful philosophical thought here.

So they named a country after grief. And those who are sufficient unto themselves are without. And one or two are lucky lucky barstids. (call me Lucky)

How d o we k now we are with out? Do we c ontinue seeking and waiting, waiting and seeking, all our l ives, always a l ittle sad or/and pessimistic .. then, one day when time's too sh ort, realise that we had it all but, hadn't kn own it. Maybe it's the glass half empty, half full syndrome.

Maybe we are wh o we are from the moment we' re born. Maybe

Always searching for that one part we are without. As if searching is the only way forward. The day we find the part we are without we are liable to stop in the middle of the road and not move another single step.

Succinct and moving. Perhaps what we are without shapes who we are as much as what we are with so to speak. Nice write. I like it very much. Thank you for sharing. I hope this finds you well and that you have a lovely weekend. Glad to hear you are back at work.
