Crazy Like Me...

Crazy Like Me...

A Poem by Kelsy Nicole May

If you were crazy like me,

When you feel completely good about yourself you’d stand out in the rain, smiling, and get soaked head to toe.

If you were crazy like me,

You’d have a cat who you’ve given tons of nicknames and rarely call her by her real name.

If you were crazy like me,

You’d eat soft waffle cones with buttery popcorn.

If you were crazy like me,

Your hair would be short and you’d be Androgynous.

If you were crazy like me,

You’d know what Androgynous meant.

If you were crazy like me,

You’d have a bunch of friends that look they could be from the circus, but you’d love them either way.

If you were crazy like me,

The walls of your room would look like they were graphitized.

If you were crazy like me,

You’d despise the colors orange and yellow, with no reason at all.

If you were crazy like me,

You’d hate those colors, but you’d love rainbows.

If you were crazy like me,

You’d hate to wear socks, because they’re uncomfortable unless you’re wearing shoes.

If you were crazy like me,…

You’d be sitting at your computer typing this out, because you didn’t want to forget something that’d turn into a great poem.
