INK STAINSA Poem by KelsmilesINK STAINS
I DON'T SPEAK MY WORDS ALOUD, THEY'RE ALREADY SCREAMING IN MY HEAD If given too much sanction, they'll tear through my every bastion. Sweet release can only come through the ink staining the sheets wringing out all my rhymes in a minimum of squiggly lines. All my hopes, dreams realized in the pages of my mind howling, bursting refrains leaving behind tracks of my brains. Can you feel the mindless rush? As my words fill the hush empty sheets, suddenly filled as my thoughts are quickly spilled. Mere ink stains on a page quilled scratches, penciled marks, Sonnets, lyrics, even haiku, all penned to say, "I love you". Kelle T. June 21, 2008 © 2008 KelsmilesAuthor's Note
