WHAT'S IN A LIE

WHAT'S IN A LIE

A Poem by Kelsmiles

What's in a lie?
Untruth, nothing, fake, faux, unreal.....
Yet that's what he yearns to hear from my lips...
Sweet, loving lies.

Lies that crawl from my mouth,
I want to believe the words I say are truth,
But his form of honesty from me has flown away...
swarming, buzzing lies

Trust is nothing if you can't believe in yourself,
the belief that what I say is honest and just...
Truth can't take the back seat to reality...
still, roaring lies

I love you, Honey, is all he persieves,
How will he understand when it becomes real,

If I decieve him, with false admissions of affection?

Hurtfull, painfull lies

Love without trust isn't love at all!
Don't force lies from me, I feel betrayed....
Now I am the betrayer of the truth, decietful.
wicked, hateful lies.
