Asylum

Asylum

A Poem by Kelsey Taylor

The maniacs asylum, I'm stark raving mad,
welcome to a world of sanity gone bad.
Yes I've lost my mind, I'm alive all the way,
sick ties seem tight, suffer to survive.
Listen to the fallen, the lost and the weak,
crippled and disfigured, expression so grave and bleak.
Trapped and caged, overdosed on times age,
bloody nails scratching walls of overwhelming rage.
Death wish, wrists slit, fatal needles injecting.
Trapped inside, alone I confide, their fake pills I'm rejecting.
Lonesome little louse, lacking loves longevity,
Die deranged, disgusting, displaced, drowning divinity.
Kill your self, just die, self homicide,
yes, this is the asylum, the truth will be denied.
