Forever and Never

Forever and Never

A Poem by Kelsey

It seems only fair that I get my revenge.
Just a kiss?
Just a touch?
It's all the same.

I wonder...
 if she truly cared.
Truly cared about you,
the way I did.
No, never.
Because what love?..
Please tell me,
what love,
could possibly be stronger than my own?
None.

Now my anger,
My fears,
My hate;
It has all turned to delight.
For you look rather good,
Dead,
Under the moonlight.

So funny,
so funny indeed.
How such true love,
could turn, change,
so abruptly..

Our idea of forever?
Guess now, I can call it never.

This was sort of hair raising. But I believe that was your exact intent. If I am correct, you have done a fabulous job here.
