A Series of Haiku

A Series of Haiku

A Poem by Keli Renee

Waiting:

I sit all alone
My knight in shining armour
On his way to me.

Only Without You:

I would rather die
Than be stuck in this with you
He who broke my heart.

Unprotected:

The slight swell of flesh
Would be a welcome child
If he used condoms.

Memories of a Lost Father:

The smell of fresh earth
Is nothing compared to him
After he sprays Bod.

Anticipation:

I wait for the bell
To toll the end of the day
So I can go sleep

Author's Note

Keli Renee
These are all random. Memories of a Father is about my deceased Dad; I always bought him Bod Man Fragrance Spray. Unprotected is about a recent pregnancy scare. Only Without You is about the Dude who nearly knocked me up.

Interesting tidbits.
I've written some haikus but have stopped because my patience wears thin pretty quickly.

it's pretty good. i like it particularly because they work together: each is a puzzle piece of your life
