Tan Lines

Tan Lines

A Poem by Kelly Danielle Hall

I am like a tan line,
Parts of me are left unexposed.

Other parts are beautiful,
They're creative and yet weak.

Sometimes I give into society,
And I'll try to fit in.

I am ideal imperfection,
Yet my flaws blend in together.

I am damaged from things,
But I still remain strong.

I am like a tan line,
A slow painless infection.

I really like the concept of this piece. It's playful in a way, yet truthful. Awesome job.
