My Teddy Bear

My Teddy Bear

A Poem by Kelly Danielle Hall

My teddy bear has seen it all,
Every time I fell,
My teddy bear knows all my flaws,
Keeps all the secrets I do tell.
My teddy bear has seen me cry,
Hugged me when I'm scared,
My teddy bear has watched me grow,
He's showed me that he cared.
My teddy bear is always with me,
Traveling near and far,
My teddy bear is my biggest fan,
He knows how tough things are.
My teddy bear conquered my fears,
Lead me to the top,
My teddy bear pulled me up,
Every time my heart did stop.
My teddy bear is in my dreams,
Yet never in my arms,
My teddy bear now is not mine,
He's someone else's charm.
My teddy bear I really miss,
As my aging never stops,
My teddy bear taught me though,
To make my smile pop!
My teddy bear I can't replace,
I can not turn back time,
My teddy bear always comforts me,
And in my heart is always mine!
