The Judgement

The Judgement

A Poem by Kelly Danielle Hall

I've always been outspoken,
The strong girl with a smile,
But once my smile is broken,
My soul will drift away a while.
I wish I weren't like this,
I wish I wouldn't hurt you,
But temptation summons dark bliss,
And a girl you never knew.
Once the smoke was lifted,
And my eyesight became clear,
My point of view had shifted,
I wish I werent here.
Now these scars trap me,
In just another vine,
Another girl who just likes to bleed,
To know she's still alive,
But you can not judge or fright me,
With your meaningless words,
For until you've felt what this could be,
You do not know the world.
I'm sorry I'm not perfect,
But honestly are you,
You're just attention sick,
Wanted to be wanted, but by who?
You need to find your own soul,
Before you crush my being,
For this smoke can consume even you whole,
Until black is all you are seeing.
