Walking through
Countryside

Nothing
But time
On my side

Watching
The
Sheep

Wondering
What thoughts
Do they
Keep

The mind
Of a
Sheep

Do they worry
About the
Slaughter
Or
If they
Don't eat

Or is it just
A daily
Treat

To roam
In the fields
Laze in
The sun

But oh
When the
Summer is
Done
And the
Winter
Has come

Do they
Wish for
Shelter
Out of the
Storm
Or is it
Nothing
To them
It's only the
Norm

Do they brave
The days
In all and every
Way
Watching and
Waiting
Unable to say

About the things
They see
Roaming free
But caught
In the trap
Of their
Individual
Thoughts

So I question
What goes
Around
In the thoughts
Without sound

What can
Be found
In the mind
Of a sheep

What thoughts
Do they
Keep .
