A bamboo

That's the
Special
Place

Without
A worry
Or a
Whine

But the
Succulent
Taste
Of
A good
Red wine

Champagne

A beautiful
Dinner
To
Dine

That's where
I get lost
Out
Of time

Red roses

For the princess
Of the
Pantomime

A glass slipper
Or
Two

A pumpkin
Will also
Do

Where there's
Endless warmth
And
Softness
Of
The softest

Where
Water
Caresses
And
Disorder
Is a
Blessing

Where's
There's
No messing
With
Your heart
And you

InTouch

Ah...that happy place. We all seek. I love how you describe a happy place and then transition into what makes you happy. The comfort it brings. I have one such happy place too. Its so comforting.

I relate to this poem so much.

I live in the woods, with my cat, nice isolation and quiet.
But just a few miles from town and from school...I spend much time with people with that bustle, and though I enjoy it, my time of quiet means the world to me...and it is my happy place, Kelly.
Just a touch away from bedlam...there is quiet, contentment...peace.
