The explosion

Like an

The explosion
I felt
In the atmosphere
Surrounding

On that
Very
First day

That day
I’ll never
Forget
Or
Ever
Regret

Time stood
Still
In the
Vacuum
Of
Our souls
Connecting
As one
Having
Found
That so
Waited for
Day

A thousand
Thoughts
Did
Play
Out in
My mind

Who is this
Precious
Soul
My heart
Seems to
Know
All in time
Direction
To be found

All the days
I cried
The thoughts
I thought
The lessons
That were
Taught
Out of breath
I was caught

A thousand
Years
I waited
Contemplated
I believed
I’d receive
Your special
Heart
As mine
Controlled
By the
Devine

A thousand
Prayers
Were told
Waiting
On time
To unfold
The truth
Shared
Between
Two
Set in
Lieu
A love
Shared
By me
And
You

Soul mates
Through
And through

Set out to
Be complete
To meet
In a special
Space
Place
Time

You love
Like a nursery
Rhyme
A tinkling
Chime
A melody
A mime

Mine the
Pantomime

The puppet
To dance
As if in

love these lines...the entire poem expresses that feeling we have no control over, at all.
Our body reacts, our heart reacts...involuntarily...when that certain person comes along...we feel an automatic need to be close.
