Rest

Following the
Guide up above-
Without reason-
Who'll
Be held
For treason?

Where freedom
Abides-
No locks
Or
Ties-
But butterflies
Flutter
And those
Words
You do
Utter-
'I love you
Be mine,
Until the
End of
Time.'

You turned the Rose🌹into what it should be, the symbol of Love, like You are❤️️ through the tides of ups and down in a relationship, given Roses can settle the negative feelings and bring out the warm, kind and sweet ones, they have that magical touch over the heart.

Red roses for love. Last week my 21 year old grandson Robbie gifted me a dozen. Knocked my socks off it did. A lovely tribute to roses, their beauty and love Kelly.

I am a Roses fan. I always make it a point to present them to my lovely lady, especially when she flies back home to me. Their simplicity and beauty says all one needs to say.

I enjoyed the poem. Your free flowing style is well suited to its theme, with your final lines being the perfect summary of just exactly what a rose should mean. Nicely written.
