I enjoyed the weaving of two concepts in this interesting piece. There is the mystery of Bombay and the orient, its heat and the sweat of the day and then there is the gin. I do like Bombay Saphire but have recently discovered Harrison's, specially produced for Aldi!

Hello Kelly. Bombay Sapphire is a blue gin I think. I wonder whether you were reflecting on a lost love whilst drinking the blues away :) Maybe not, maybe just a metaphor, but I certainly felt this write was about a relationship that didn't work out. All good wishes poet.

reminds me of a relationship...together, not together then back together, married, then divorced, then together again as close friends...
