I do believe in karma dear Kelly. I paid in three-fold years ago. Love is precious and rarely touched. Need wood and fire to capture heat and passion. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

The sad truth about some loves. I’ve found those who play games have often been played. They hurt us before we can hurt them. It’s not right but it’s often reality. Tragically, broken hearts never truly heal, even when karma comes to others. You’ve captured this well in your poem.

Thankyou and I’m glad u liked it-in time all shall heal🌹
Ouch that’s so sweetly cutting! I have found the more someone needs to play games the less they like themselves. Every one has some pain and self disdain it’s only part of being human! But the incessant game players are best left alone :) I’m just bored at my store slow night just randomly picking writers and I’m glad I found this poem! Nice to meet you I’m Bunny:) oh I forgot I love the form and rhythm in this and enjoy the message a nice flow to it
You have a unique way of describing the games people play in love & romance. My favorite line is the one about being worthy of a heart of gold (maybe a typo: "we" instead of "be"?) Sometimes in life that heart of gold just doesn't happen, but it doesn't mean such gold must be deserved. I don't find this to be vitriolic at all. It feels like a realistic description of how these things often go, as if the narrator is an outside observer (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

' When the heart - They hold - Freezes .. Becomes distant - Old- '
Seems words take the place of knives, sharp as intended, sans knowledge but ripped by emotions. You've written from the heart or seemingly so, Kelly: dark words, finely laid and perhaps, a lesson taught.
You put it simply yet so strongly here. Games should never be played. They are cold-blooded and really freeze a trusting heart. That's the biggest sin. Karma always returns for payback.
you can beat an egg and a carpet, but you just can't beat a bit of karma can ya... these are characteristically lovely words my dear friend and poet........ Neville 🌹
