Actions
Words

To listen
Look
And learn
The way
My heart
Does yearn

To spend
The precious
Time

With nobody
Else hanging
On the line-

To show attention
No interrupted
Interventions

No guilty
Feelings
Hiding
All the meaning
Of why
You never tried
Before -
Because of
Someone else’s
Flaws

They were
The cause-

Looking back
Youll see that
It is only me

I didn’t ask much
Just a hello
A hug
A touch

Time spent
Together
No matter
The weather

You and i
Together forever-

Its just a matter
Of time -

That time
We cannot
Rewind-

It will occupy
Your mind

Then you’ll realise
It was only time-

So precious
So short
Unique
Only
Of one kind

Its moving
Always losing
Precious moments
Left to pass

So dig down
Look around

Its lost time
You cant rewind

Find the place

The time is here

It's hard for me to like short poems -- I long for messages to continue longer. This poem, however, went on a little too long for me. I love everything you're saying, but it feels like you're saying the same things in a little bit different way. A longer poem can be more compelling if you offer something fresh & startling, all along. Other than that minor issue (still a great poem just the way it is) . . . your message is one of the most important things about love & friendship. Everybody just wants a little attention. Many times people do not pay attention to people becuz they feel they do not have the money or the trappings to go somewhere & do something together. But this is sad, as your poem shows us, becuz most people don't care about trappings, but just want to share some time. You've stated this perfectly (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

This is that type of love. The one women yearn for but seems to be too much for a man to understand.
I can sense some pain too from the narrator. It has been neatly put and exciting. Its beautiful

Time, our most valuable we own. A hour longer with dear Grandma. To hear your father laugh again. I understand the poem dear Kelly. Life isn't fair. Some people make you laugh and make you feel good.
