‘In The Distance’

In the security of the unknown ‘🌹

In The Distance:

Looking into the distance
Trails are only left
Then we come to realise
The Lord always knows
The best-
He's got an answer
For every question ,
And a solution
For every test-
We must just learn
To put out trust,
And good intentions
For His full attention-

Though days be dim
There's no need to sin,
The ways of the world
Hold misery untold,
Sometimes your path
May be cold but treasures,
Are hidden and gold
Being held and set aside,
For those who abide
In the ways of His will,
Where the flesh
Cannot full,
And your efforts are nil-

So with your eyes
On those tracks,
Never look back
For what's been left behind,
Has become a sign
Of the tests of time,
Both yours and mine
Divided by a thin line-

Look forward and grin
Moving away from sin-
Replace sadness
With gladness,
Away from the madness
Be grateful,
Not hateful
Thankful and kind,
Renew your mind
For a new place in time.
