‘The Silence That Steals’

We are all looking for that something that will fulfil that empty space within- or is everyone really?

Do some just accept and not have the need to seek, not wondering , ‘ What is this all about’-does this question not cross everyone’s mind? Do some know there is more to ‘us’, than the flesh were trapped in- but are too afraid to seek the truth? Then there is the you and me-the ‘I’, that have the sense- The Holy Spirit , that leads us to question, ‘what is this all about? Who are we? What are we ? Where is this all going, and where does it come from?’ . The ones that don’t have knowledge of the purpose of life, and seek answers.

Then there are those that know and have knowledge of the path they choose to follow - also seeking and learning, yet not finding the answers, that bring that inner peace and calmness that they yearn.

Destruction, disappointment, a sense of loss, not belonging, depression, sadness, loneliness, emptiness, following trends, being affected by freinds and spiritual beliefs - just a few of the things experienced by individuals that follow the paths that spiritually steals that inheritance that God has given us. We must remember our family tree- search for the place were meant to be.

When we walk alone, without having accepted God into our lives and feel that we are alone, expecting the right people to appear, with all the answers, we open ourselves up to walk the paths that cross our destination. We choose to take the direction in which we walk .

God loves us so much he gives us a choice, He never wants to force anyone to do anything- He wants to know that you truly love Him and only Him, that you choose Him above drugs, sex, abuse, money, material belongings, everything.

As a believer, I am reading your inspirational piece in a critical way, so I hope you’ll not be offended when I speak my truth, too. I appreciate that you’ve written this to be the way you see it. But I find it to be dangerous to try to guess what other people are thinking & feeling . . . then using that as some kind of “proof” that they are not as happy as you think they should be . . . so that gives you the license to preach to them about some answer that you think addresses a problem you don’t even know for sure that they have. I agree with everything you’re saying & I love it when people share their joy about God. But I think your approach could be less judgmental. Don’t try to tell people what they think & feel. That’s very offensive. We each have our own path to walk & it’s more inviting when you tell us about the genuine joy & balance you feel in your own walk. Tempt people instead of preaching to them. Describe the way your beliefs have helped you live a good life rather than describing all the ways you think other people are living unfulfilled lives. This sounds like a politician, convincing people about what’s wrong with your life& how this is the answer. Yuk! Try telling little vignettes to SHOW (instead of TELLING) the way it looks when a life is lived with grace, balance & gratitude. To me, this is the way to encourage the beliefs you wish to share (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

We all seek something and only God has all the answers.. People try to blame him but in reality he is giving us the paths to chose, he is giving us the stuff to chose, but in the end it is us who has to follow and do the things God places in front of us... Thank you for sharing
