'Lover Or Friend'

There's not a day
that my mind
doesn't
meet your
face-

wondering what
and
where

and do you
really care-

thoughts and
doubts-

love bubbling
all about

lost in a world
of questions-

visions-

dreams-

is it not
what it
seems-

imaginary scenes

what could
or
could not
be-

the play
plays out

will it ever
be-

smiles they care
tears
they fall

I can only
hope and pray
that things will
work out
on a special
day-

my prayer goes
out
without a doubt
that Gods
plans for us
are controlled
from above-

I try each day
to stay away
but
my love returns
to the heart
I hold-

So special

so dear

and
ever so
near-

I try convince myself
I'm living a dream
it's not like a dream-

I try to let go-

I see signs-

I feel emotions-
It's like i'm
stuck under
a potion-

why cant I let go

distance between us
but nothing it seems

my heart wont let go

as us the pathway
it knows-
the story its told

never growing cold
or
old-

finding new strength
with every doubt-
the flame never going
out-

It's the love we share
fueled from
i don't know where

up above
is the love
that unites us

never to seperate
us
unconditional
its true
but
if only
we knew

where

will it all end-

as a lover
or
a friend....

The heart knows what it knows and your words are your head catching up to it, with hope and optimism...But isn't that the best part, when a fluttering mind catches the fluttering heart, and once more the world is a place of infinite possibilities and wonder, making our steps lighter and our smile becomes more extroverted, as we try to contain the abundance of happiness we feel. Optimism, that not even wind and rain can dampen.
