The moon so loved the sun he died each night to let her shine🌹

Sunset Sunrise:

Just as the sun
Sets
And
Rises

So is my
Love-
Desires
And
Surprises-

Each morning
Anew-
Waiting
Upon the
Presence
Of you-

Oh darling
Heart -
Where is the
Part of the play
That special day-

Risen in splendour-
Or are you the great
Pretender-

Like orange in red
Fire-
My hearts
Only desire
To burn deep
And close-

So quiet and remote-

Sitting high
In the sky
Full strength
Full force fire-

Slowly descending
As time crossing
The mind-
What did she
There find-

Coming to rest
At the end the test-
Did we try our best

Remember
Surrender -
I give you my all
Face down in the
Floor-
Surrender

Defender

Come clean me
Redeem me

Full me with fire
Of love and desire-

To rise again
Begin the cycle
Again-

Love can’t pretend
The heart we defend-

Oh glow oh so bright
Showing all might-

Light the midnight
Path so bright-
Hold your precious
Heart insight -
Give in to the
Fight-
Embrace what’s
Right-

When the suns rays
Remove the thoughts
Gone astray-
The moon shine
Intertwines
The longing
Of the mind-

Set your self free
Where the
Sun and moon
Join
In unity-

A blessing
For you and me ...

Excellent piece of writing! I could picture Selene (goddess of the moon) driving her chariot across the heavens, with her brother Helios (a handsome young man crowned with the shining aureole of the Sun) following her across the sky each day. But in this version two devoted lovers; made me smile … :-)
