Nicely rhyming ditty conveying simplicity of affection. I often pick a handful of wildflowers or a bud from my garden to give to someone who is briefly touching my life . . . it's not just about longterm love. It's a significant symbol to brighten anyone's day (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Simple and delicate piece; it also stimulated my little grey cells! I was reminded that the title word could also be spelt ‘posey’ and in the 1530s was ‘a line of verse engraved on the inner surface of a ring’! The word adopted a different meaning of "flower, bouquet" sometime around the 1570s. Ahhh … the power of thought provoking …. :-)
