Flickering Flame:

Flame it flickers

The atmosphere
Thickens

Taking you back
In time-

The heat it glows
Colours
Show

The meaning
Of
The
Fates of
Time-

The path
It
Knows
Within
It showing-
What’s meant
To be
The knowing-

Thoughts
Of
All sorts-
Visiting
Many ports
Of call

It echoes
Into
Your very
Soul

Where
Seldom you
Choose to
Go-

You do know

Why won’t you
Let it show-
You can’t escape
There’s a lock
On
The gate

It’s code
You alone
Have been
Shown

Within the
Seeds you have
Sown-

It won’t
Let go-

Reminders
And
Repetition
You’re in
Full control
Of the
Ignition-

A new
Height
You will
Ascend to-
There’s no
Use
Trying to
Defend
‘You’-

Blessings and
Boundaries
You erect yourself
Without a doubt
Or
A thought
For
Yourself-

Binding your
Mind
To the rules
Of
Mankind
A evil
Shrine-
Losing yourself
Losing time

There comes
A
Space
And
A
Place
Where you
Yourself
Shall find-

Don’t look around
Home is what you
Have now found-

Remove the lock
Unhinge the bars
Throw open
The
Gates

Set free the soul

That is the goal

Been hidden
For
So long -

Feel destiny’s song
Scream and shout
Jump about-
Echo each word
Ensure you
Get heard-

Where have the
Barriers
Gone

The gong
Awakens
The path been
Taken -
The path
It shows
So clear

You never knew
Or had a clue
That freedom
Laid so near-

The choices
In each beat
Of
The heart
Sometimes
Leaves us
In
The dark

So ignite
That
Spark-
Don’t fear
The flame

It

at one point reading Your words, I became emotional remembering the past, You know how to write and reach smoothly into those whom are in trouble, the title is brilliant, a flame, a candle, and the power that it can hold, I imagine one sitting in the dark, gazing to that candle, images of the past run into his mind, and reading Your words... knowing, he and only he can make it, and he can make it!

Yes- and now you have me in tears- what the soul knows nothing can deter it from the truth- I was lying in a bath with candlelight when I wrote it watching the flame- you are so in tune- I’m glad it made you safe in the knowings if the past where we find safety and security in Him alone- be blessed special soul🌹
