Miles-
But tears don’t

The distance
Heals and
Steals-

Longing
And loving-

Escaping and
Waiting-

The truth it’s
Stood the test
Of time-

Will it make
Your soul

Wishing
And
Missing -
Souls entwined
And
Kissing-

Oh soul

Your poem certainly describe the saying absence makes the heart grow fonder. Its difficult and frustrating being away from the person you want to caress as much as possible. Yet, I think with the right mindset and actions you can get to them. This was a wonderful piece for me to read and I encourage you to keep writing and growing. :)

Nicely woven word sounds & rhymes like a tumbling spill of feelings with good intensity. The final line sorta changes everything, with this thought-provoking hint of a reason, but that last line also puts the entire message in the frame where it's meant to be (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Beautifully done this one. When two souls in love, even when they are physically close to each other, feel there's a gap between them, a gap in their relationship, it's a total pity and if that gap cannot be done with away with, it's better that they do away with their 'relationship'. I really liked this one. Great rhymes, and a great poem overall!

how tenderly longingly You've described the "distance" love... if it's the physical distance or the invisible distance like time, in some of Your words I felt an unrequited love, in some I felt the separation of the loved one, in other I felt like ate in love with someone from the far past, no longer is here, in any ways, like always I enjoy reading Your thoughts and feelings, thank You my sweet friend.
