‘Rivers Of Devine’

Can’t the Rivers
Of Devine
Wash away all
These wonderings
Of my mind

When will it be time

Complete peace
I’ll find
Where hearts
Are happy
Smiles are bright
And moonlight
Shines the way-

Oh that will be a happy
Day
Children playing in
The hay
Where each straw
Of time
And dandelion
Will answer
Nature’s call-

Where no ones
Been before
Our souls will
Sour
And yearn
For more-

Stars shining blue
For love so true
A newness all
Around
Where angels walk
And emotions talk
That were left
Upon the ground-

Oh come let’s
Serenade
Giving glory
For that which
We adore-

Where spirits
Fly
And souls
Never
Die-

It’s here
That we
Search for.

Thankyou for the compliment but there’s still lots I need to learn, but I try write out of love and truth. This freedom is what my heart longs for to share it with another but not just any other the correct one- hopefully in time it will find me and our love can be free otherwise my heart will go on alone🌹

It has been a very long while since I last read Free Style poetry verses strung so beautifully together with sweeping emotion, deep metaphor, tender promise, warming appeal, and so much more … so vividly portrayed in enchantments that virtually flow down and off the page into a reader's imagination, hopes, and desires -- embracing the senses with such captivation the world around melts away.
The rhythms of your syntax lends to spot-on line-breaks and flow, and an undulating joy that's enthralling as the shapes of your verses, themselves.
There's not much an olde bard, like me, can offer such a well-struck piece as this, Kelly … still, a practiced-eye caught a coupl'a spots to share you might consider giving a look-see:
Title; is it Rivers Of "Divine" (as in Divinity), or is it as the French "Devine" or Guess?
V5L1; "Where no one's" (the contraction of "no one has/is").
Whatever, such wee details among so much luring perfection in this soul-fetching, heart-embracing, wonder of poetical bliss is moot, at best.
