Heartache

The sights surrounding everyday life the search for the truth they desperately need.

Heartache:

When I look around
It’s heartache to
Be found-
Without a sound
The hurt rebounds-
Never gaining ground-
What is this that’s
Come around?

Is it self inflicted-
This damage
Could never be
Predicted-
Out of dedication
Came irradication-
Lost within the pain
Of this foolish game-
Where you lose your
Name-
And are put to shame

Where did it
All start-
What scene did you
Play the part?

Leaving you torn apart-
Not knowing where
To start-
To heal this brokenness
You feel-
Is it even real
This silence that steals-

It’s all in the mind-
At a certain set time
Don’t allow yourself
To play this pantomime-
It’s a matter of time
Becoming a nursery rhyme-

Renew and rebalance
The mind-
Tack back the time-
Rewind
Find your place
In this human race-
Know your worth
Go back within
Find the you
Who is true-
Don’t give up
You just never know
How tomorrow
Will go-

Love yourself-
And without
A shadow of
Doubt-
You’ll see how
The pain is
Set free-
And your broken
Heart
Will be healed-
With love as
It’s seal.

I liked and I understood this poem.

The above lines. I had to go to war and find my humanity. Never too late to come alive and find something we love. Old age had taught me. Love is large. I have grandchildren now. They love us for who we are and we love them. Because they are a part of us. Thank you dear Poet for sharing the amazing poetry and thoughts.
