When we
See
The sickness,
Of mankind-
Its variations,
The differences,
Of time-
It all leads
Back to our
Minds-

The mind that
Rewinds
Time-
The mind that
Dismantles
And entwines-
Looks to
Deep and
Allows us
To weep-
What is
There
Actually
For us
To keep?

Subjects arise,
Dreams
That aspire-
Only we allow
These thoughts
To expire,
To retire-

People don't
Understand
The underlying
Plans if
The sands
Of time-
Is it
Yours or
Mine?

In the mind,
Its just
A matter of
Time-
Placed to
Unwind,
A certain
Stage-
Will you
Be kept
In a cage,
Or
Do you
Play out
The stage?

In the mind,
Is where
We find
True peace-
Of mind,
Just your
Own
Matter of
Time..

Thoughts In Time,
I was just looking at a piece of your last line,
"We find true peace of mind,
Just your own matter of time...
Finding and holding a sense of peace is so important!
Time is the stage of this mortal life we all strive within.
Past moments real begin to fade into the present and
then begin to fade as another season comes. Here is
hoping we are paying attention and can not experience
to much pain. I appreciated your thoughts.

I made a whole career out of trying to understand what made people tick, and to help those other people understand themselves... the human mind is truly amazing.. I would not dare to suggest that I have a real grasp of it.... there is still so very much to learn... I do like the tone and the theme of this poem tho and that's for sure..... Neville

Thankyou and yes the brain/mind is an amazing yet mysterious organ- I want to look more into it and would like to go more in direction of mental health even just to touch lives- so many stuck in their minds- on medication- watch the film-‘Brain on fire’- amazing- makes one think- well hopefully 🌹
