Our minds take control and steal our senses.

‘Our Minds’

We emprison
ourselves-
in our minds
wasting time-
isn’t it a
crime-
the scene we set-
because we forget
that it’s the self
that seeks,
fights battles
and depletes-

Behind the bars
we scarcely
know ourselves-
until into deeper
levels
we dissolve-
revealing things
to ourselves-
that only we
ourselves can
free-
our spirits from
the person behind
the bars-

Looking through
a crystal jar-
the exit left
hinged-
the sunlight
streaming in-
it’s one step
to be made-
to self-freedom
without
reason-

It steals your
time-
within this prison
called
‘the mind’,
you’re free
to be-
just look
and see-
the illusion
of
this reality.

Thoughts in Time'

It is good to analyze sometimes the inner workings of our lives, that is, what is important.
Good job for sure in it's totality. Here is what spoke to me:

I LIKE THE WORDS USED IT SYMBOLIZES THE LIMITATION OF THE HUMAN INTELLECT. THE IRONY OF IT IS THAT WE ARE THE ONLY LIVING THINGS EQUIP WITH THIS BUT SOMETIMES IT CAN DECEIVE US ESPECIALLY WHEN BURDENS KEEP PILING UP.
