Love

Love-everything complete.

‘Love’

Every time
you look around
what is it that
you are wanting
to be found-

Happiness,
peace and
joy complete-
it’s these things
that our desires
do meet-
all around
there’s
disappointments,
people full
of grief-
why is this
look inside
deep-
the search
for love
incomplete
is what causes
the flesh to
crumble,
and to
stumble-
all the empty
words that we
mumble-
poisoning our
thoughts
and hearts-
stealing the
love and joy-
setting you
apart
in the dark-

Love is
all around
to be found-
it starts
with you-
examine your
heart-
clear out each
part
of what steals
your joy-
renew your
mind-
replacing
nasty with kind-
then you’ll
no longer be
blind to this
love -
each one of us
so seek to find-

Remove the
shadows
from your eyes
so blind-
it’s the solid
root given
to mankind-

LOVE
is a four
letter word-
sometimes
unheard-
it’s easy
to do-
open your heart
embrace
with your arms-
let out all
your charm-
It can do no
harm .

'Love'
Thoughts in Time,
Words of encouragement I have seen above to just keep going. Life and love are a wonderful place to be and we oft-times navigate with no compass but we learn and try. Human beings are precious this way. We try, we learn, we fall, we get back up and sometimes are inspired and are allowed special times of rejuvenation. I lked your poem a great deal and found it encouraging. Good job!
