Words

A Poem by kar

So many words;

words on signs, words on doors.

Words carved into trees, telling me and you and the world he loved her;

and the words in the book telling me how I should feel - what I should say.

But when I came to you shattered and broken,

the words that hurt the most

were the words left unspoken.

Unspoken words can break our heart. The strong description in the poem allowed the reader to feel the sadness and the frustration. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.

We all learn the hard way. Words allow us to rebirth good places and faces.
Words can be uttered by anyone. Sentiments have to felt. Getting things off your chest, as my mother would say, has definite benefits.
Nice little poem.

I love this poem, you did a great job. I love how you that words can tell a person their true feeling unless they are unspoken.
