Non Sum

you were the brightest light

on my darkest of nights.

your voice, the sweetest sound;

your allure quite profound.

 

my favorite lover you quickly became;

for you i would do anything  - i had no shame.

i wanted you close, needed you near;

i longed for that pinch from your sharp,  piercing spear.

 

as my blood rushes, you dance in my mind;

you send me spinning, no words can define.

slowly, as your dance begins to end;

my thoughts about life start to transcend.

 

when it's all said and done,

you leave me, feeling cumbersome.

my body aches, and my mind reels;

frantically seeking the next perfect deal.

 

as daylight fades, giving way to night,

i'm left alone to fight this miserable fight.

existing, full of remorse;

oh how i despise you, you evil horse!
