This is a new poem I wrote after reading "The Haroin Diaries" by Nikki Sixx. I used some of the words to " Life Is Beautiful" in my poem. wrote by Nikki Sixx And sang by Sixx A.M. Don't be hard on this one people......Its near to

Smoking on Sixx bucks a day

How�s Nikki put it?
You can�t quit until you die
But life is Beautiful!!!

Smoke filled lungs.
Jump and its lost along the way.
Pleasures all mine.

They all say quit!
But it�s not that easy you see.
Taste the Nicotine .

Make it go away before I go insane.
It may not be Heroin or even Mary Jane,
but sometimes its still the pain.

Back to what Nikki said...
You can�t live until you die,
But Life is Beautiful!!!

Author's Note

Don't be to hard on me on this one it's close to my heart. Also people I used some lines from the song " life is Beautiful" and I used Nikki Sixx name and words.......But I give full cridit to Him.......so no one come telling you need to give cridit to Sixx A.M. or Nikki Sixx because I just did OK?

as long as you feel like you can fit everything into a few-years-shorter life, i say do what you want.

i'm not a big fan of rhyming (actually i cant stand it), and i dont know why you wanted me to read this really, because i dont understand your references, also you have so many comments on it already, so why would you want more? but if its close to your heart, then theres no way i can give you any feedback. because its already how it should be.

I think it's "you can't live until you die"....at least, I'm pretty sure.

And I was a littttle offended by one of the lines.
Like Prescilla said, if it's close to the heart, that's all you, but from a public opinion, I don't think this would be quite up to par.

Life is beautiful!!! This made me want too live life to the fullest. Why quit? We are all going to die anyway, so I guess we should enjoy it while we can. Great read and totally relatable on the idea of everyone saying why don't you quit. As a smoker, I loved it.

As a belligerent still smoker (ok so I'm moving onto reluctant acceptance that it aint too clever really) thumbs up honey. It's a tad specialist with the references; I'm sure I know Nikki Sixx from another band, or I could be delusional. Either or or. I liked it; mainly cos I am soooo tired the over indulgent poetry here. :D

I love this piece.... it's very unique and truly beautiful... This is well expressed and it flows amazingingly well... Smoking is a hard addiction to break, my sister is trying to quit right now and it's not going too well... This was beautiful and flows greatly... Great job!!

My husband is trying to quit, thank the Heaven's above that he's in Africa right now and not here ranting and raving! LOL, which is normal for him but its even worse when he tries to quit the bad habit of smoking!! Awesome write, I don't smoke but I really enjoyed it! Keep up the writing Kelley (-:
