I Forgive You, Too

I Forgive You, Too

A Poem by Kellee

echoes of my soul
calling out to you
sending out a message
can you see this through?

fearsome loathing
twisted mind
deceptions run rampant
i know your kind

what you saw as a game
was once my life
now it's filled with tears
and pain and strife

rewind the clock
to turn back time
to never know you
to steady my climb

hatred exists for you in my heart
but i cannot allow it to tear me apart
there is only one right thing i can do
swallow my hate and forgive you, too
