An Open Letter To My HeartA Poem by Kellee
my dear heart, when will you stop bleeding?
can't you see this life you're leading? it's filled with sorrow, pain, and strife but you know, my dear, it's still your life you can numb the pain a bit, and help to calm your soul but if you can't even get out of bed, the sorrow will surely swallow you whole they say time heals all wounds, but is that so if the cut is this deep? you tried to climb over the mountain of heartache, but slid back down when you found that it is just too steep the tears have stopped, so why not the pain? i've found the pieces of my heart, but you have left a stain one that won't wash out, no matter what i do i can live with the stain, but now i've gone and lost the glue even if i put the pieces back together, a difference we will find for there will always be a hollow spot, where your heart used to be attached to mine © 2010 KelleeFeatured Review
