time moves too slow
i sit here not knowing which way to go
my heart points me in one direction
my head tells me to go another way
i'm so lost without you
though i know you had your reasons
why you couldn't stay
life doesn't seem fair to me
but i guess love doesn't come with a guarantee
everything right now is beyond a mess
but even though i've tried i don't love you any less
in fact i think i love you more than ever
but fate has stepped in to crush and sever
my heart is bleeding
so many tears my soul has cried
in losing you
it feels like a huge part of me has died
so here i sit trying to let go
it's not what i want
this you must know
maybe it's for the best?
right now i feel like my life is one huge test
i'll love you forever
that will always be true
but sometimes you have to rebuild and renew
