Porcelain Doll

Porcelain Doll

A Poem by Kellee
"

Feeling forgotten...

"

this morning i woke to the bluest skies
it reminded me of your eyes
the sun sets in my sky tonight
shades of pink and orange light
time passes slowly without you here
as down my face rolls one lone tear
my bed beckons me to go to sleep
but closing my eyes is a price too steep
for when i do the bad dreams come
and with the new morning i wake to the rising sun
how do you live when you cant live with yourself?
i'm like a porcelain doll someones knocked off the shelf
i can't escape my mistakes or the words i regret
i can't erase the fear that i'm just someone you'll soon forget
