Part Of Me

The day you went away

     left a hole so deep inside,

          So deep I got lost in it

Spiraling out of control,

     Who am I?

     Where did I go?

You were always the best part of me

Walking around a maze

     that has no end

My heart so broken

     sorrow so deep,

          like nothing I've ever known

I close my eyes and I can still see you, 

     agony overcoming me,

          knowing I'll never be able to hold you again

You stole my heart

      like no other could

You becoming part of me-

      intertwining our souls

You'll always live on within me

Sometimes I wonder if poem like this are base of fact or imagination but in this case, I can tell this is something that truly happened and I am so sorry for that. This pain is like no other...your words say that clearly. Beautifully sad.
