Silence

Silence

A Poem by K. Whittington

Missing you
How my heart hurts
As if it's been ripped into pieces
I want so badly to reach out
Give you a call
But deep inside
Sadly I know
Tragedy will befall
Your where you are
And I'm somewhere else
This divide
It's like worlds apart
I grieve the loss of you
Everyday of my life
Tears fall silently
As your memory floods my soul
I'll never let you go

Dedicated to James Daniel Wehner
