My Beautiful Butterfly

Everyday that goes by I think of you,

     In one way or another

For you have left an imprint upon my soul

Your beauty still shines a light into my life

Your were such a rare beauty to behold

Always a sparkle in your eyes

And a smile that banished away any

     and all darkness in your presence

A kindness and generosity about you that 

     you couldn't contain if you tried

The true embodiment of genuine

     selflessness and love

And now I know you are truly free,

     Resting in the arms of our Savior

Like a rare butterfly on a warm Summer day

Until we meet again, may God bless you

     in every way
