Stone flowers

Stone flowers

A Poem by Kejo

Stone flowers on my wall
Hanging there next to my mirror
Accross from the window
Not far from where I sit now
Why are these flowers on my wall
They seem so out of place
Amongst my dull and dingy room
This splash of color im my dim domain
Colored mainly in blue's black's and greys
The flash of my clock
Sends odd luminescent patterns
Flitting accross those stone flowers
Contrary to their strong base
They seem so delicate and small
Their petals dainty, and stems so thin
Look as if I were to reach out and touch them
They would shatter, just like glass
Yet these stone flowers hanging on my wall
Remain there, unaffected and untouched

Simply loved this poem of yours... it has a haunting feel... but really loved it on the whole, especially the subject of the poem! Nicely done!
