Michael

Michael

A Poem by Kejo
"

In honor of my brother, Michael.

"
Green
Green as the grass in spring
Streaching accross the open pasture
Swaying in the gentle breeze

Green
Green as the tree's we see
Standing tall and proud just behond the hill
Hiding their own mysteries

Green
Green as the young hay
Waist deep and higher in the field
It's sweet scent lingering on the wind

Green
Green as the garden on midsummer days
With peas and letuce and onions and more
Fresh on the supper table tonight

Green
Green as your eyes in the sun
Glowing with life and love for all
Sparkling with umbridled joy

I like this, mostly because you write what you know and honesty's a good policy. :)
