Forever EndingA Poem by KeiraOndrusThis whatever you want it to beClouds barricade to sky, blocking the sunshine. Rain pours over, a single silhouette. For I am the one who made the barricade. The dam of the soul, breaks with a single push. A salty river flows, down the expressionless face. For I am the one who let the dam fail. The field is nothing, it never ends. No hiding, from the darkness. For I am the one who destroyed the land. A mask made from glass, shields a single silhouette. Painted with a solar eclipse. For I am the one who crafted the mask. The mask cracks, Cracks turn to shatters. Unveiling the sorrow inside. Opaque pitch, turns to translucent obsidian. For I am the one who cracked my mask. The river starts to dry, the door to the soul repairs. Landscape heightens, Around a single silhouette. For you are the one who patched my dam. Clouds glow, as they break away. A sun beam gleams, through a darkened sky. For you are the one who chased my demon. Landscape flattens, till nothing is left. Clouds turn to pitch, blocking the light. For you are the one who left me stranded. The dam gets bumped, once again. A river once dried, flows forever stronger. For we are the ones who flow through the cycle. © 2015 KeiraOndrusFeatured Review
