Tell Me Everything's AlrightA Poem by Ren BlackAnd you can burn in hell for all I care. Burn with my memories. My happiness and tragedies. With everything I used to be, Couldn't be. I'll never need- Burn in shadows of A death of life, A life of death, The pain and strife. Burn in fumes of my constant sighs, The childhood bleeding From my eyes. Burn in flames of my past regret. The future that I haven't met. Burn, burn. Die, die. Reaching up To tear the sky. Falling on my shoulders lie Burdens of old habits I will never lose will always choose. Pick a life in others' shoes. What is there left to say? Someone else in every way. And every Sullen day, I'm penning rhymes That won't decay. Then in time, On my knees, I'm begging, please, I'll learn to pray. But I was not brought up this way. A kiss goodnight. A dream to fight. And if I fall asleep tonight, You'll be there, It's only fair, Tell me everything's alright.
