Broken Vow

When we get hurt, theres a lot of things that kept unsaid

You're the only one that keeps me hanging
But what you did is so devastating
You betrayed me with all your might
Yet Im still here holding you tight

They always say mind over matter
And here I am even a single word can't utter
Cause in my mind thoughts are like forever
So unwanted that it repeats over and over

"You have to be resilient" they proclaim
A nod is the only thing that I can claim
Is there an alternative? No, there's None
Maybe there is, but perhaps just one

Move on, it's easier said than done
I tried to move forward yet Im still back at one
All our memories keep flashing back
Like a ghost that haunts me on rack

Forgetting you is obviously hard but a must
Definitely all I need to do is to adjust
Can you please tell me what to do and how?
Cause Im bleeding with your broken vow
