A Poem by Kees Kapteyn

Boys,

I hold you in my arms

And my father holds me

And my grandfather holds him...

Kick your legs,

Twist and squirm,

I'm not letting you go.

These arms are stronger than the earth to lay in.

You will not fall.

Your father is your center of gravity.

Your father is where gravity sends you.
