Hince Illae Lacrimea

Hince Illae Lacrimea

A Poem by Alexzan Marie
"

Hince Illae Lacrimae is Latin for 'hence these tears'

"

Passion burns like the fires of one hundred incinerators
Behind the eyes of this hallowed beauty

She is perfumed with a scent of bleak despair
Wrapped in sheer, bitter elegance
Her eloquence is her prowess

'Hince illae lacrimae' is her mantra
She hisses like a snake
Slithering, crawling through her suitors

A black widow
If ever one existed

Hince
Illae lacrimae

She burns.

What a beautiful write. both in words and in the way it is laid out on the page. Very unique.

I liked this very much.
