I wrote this as a sort of affirmation to myself. A written form of what I was feeling. Trying to secure my thoughts.

Every day I'm Learning

I'm learning to pick myself up

Learning to walk again

Not yet ready to fly

Every day I'm learning

Learning that heartache is a process

It's ugly

But I'm learning

Every day I try to learn

Try to live without you

Try to be happy once more

Learning to grow

Every day I learn

That yesterday is just that

Yesterday

Every day I learn

I'm not yet where I want to be

Not where I used to be

Right where I should be

Every day I'm learning

That love is a mystery

Forever changing

Unyielding
