Neptune in November

Stuck in between
Loneliness, heartache and dreams
Anxious like a tenant
With just a dollar independent

Chaotic crosswalks
Where traffic preaches peace
Experiencing mortality
Wallowing in defeats

Dealt a hand like Calypso
Cold and isolated
Some wars are won
When the heart is deflated

Don’t hesitate to celebrate
Neptune in November
It will all be over soon
Dead by December
